Spill a beverage (preferably juice) on something important.
Hold your own hand, for at least 30 seconds.
Stretch any part of your body until you find a pain that feels good. Name your pain, and come back to visit it throughout a week.
Draw your heart in your mind. Picture how it reacts to specific thoughts, feelings, words, memories.
Throw a dinner party. After the meal, have your guests wash their own dishes and then break them.
Take a picture every day, of something you see every day.
Try to make a wrinkle in your face.
Organize your clothes into clothes that you feel comfortable in and clothes you don’t. Divide those piles into clothes you feel beautiful in, and those you don’t.
Record yourself humming or making any vocalization for 3 seconds. Send the recording to a friend and ask them to add onto your recording by doing the same. Tell them to send it to a friend with the same instructions until you have all made a song at least 1-minute long. Don’t worry if you never hear it.
Bring a friend to your house and ask them to describe the smell of your home. Then go to their house and do the same.
Count how many animals you see in a day.
Sit on a wet surface: grass, moss or a rock.
Make your favourite meal.
Spell the first word you learned.
Mend something, then break it. Or, break something, then mend it.
Write an alphabet, using: a ballpoint pen, a marker pen, a roller ball pen.
Think about all the ways in which you are ugly, and laugh.
Make an object, and imagine the object is the only person you love in the world. Throw the object into the bin, and feel how alone you are.
Don’t brush your teeth for a week. Observe how you feel about yourself.
Recover an item from your neighbour’s garbage.
Kick a rock down the road for as long as you can.
Show up an hour early to an appointment. Or, show up an hour late.
